Sunpetal Pediatric Therapy provides individualized, play-based ABA therapy for children with autism near Westfield, Indiana, serving families throughout the Westfield-Washington Schools district and surrounding Hamilton County communities.
Our center at 9505 Delegates Row in Indianapolis is approximately 14-17 minutes from Westfield depending on your neighborhood, easily accessible via US-31 or SR-32. Westfield has grown into one of the fastest-growing communities in Indiana, and with that growth has come an increasing number of families navigating early autism diagnoses and searching for high-quality, individualized ABA therapy close to home.
We built Sunpetal specifically to serve communities like Westfield -- where families deserve more than a corporate waiting list and a different therapist every few months. Our center is small, intentional, and built around consistent relationships and real results.
If your child has received an autism diagnosis and you are ready to explore ABA therapy, fill out our intake form or call us at (317) 207-0824 to get started.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that helps children with autism develop meaningful skills such as communication, social interaction, daily living, and emotional regulation. It is widely recognized as one of the most effective early interventions for autism spectrum disorder and is endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the U.S. Surgeon General.
At Sunpetal, our ABA therapy programs are child-led and play-based. Rather than rigid, table-based instruction, our therapists follow each child's interests and motivation -- embedding skill-building into activities your child genuinely enjoys. This makes skills stick, makes therapy something children look forward to, and produces the kind of progress that carries over into daily life at home and at school.
Skills commonly targeted in ABA therapy include:

Step 2: Insurance Verification
We verify your coverage directly and handle the prior authorization process on your behalf. We accept most private insurance plans and Indiana Medicaid. See our full list of accepted plans. If your plan is not on our in-network list, we can request a Single Case Agreement.
Step 3: Assessment
A BCBA conducts a comprehensive evaluation of your child's strengths, needs, and goals. This forms the foundation of their individualized treatment plan.
Step 4: Begin Services
Most families begin ABA therapy within a few weeks of first contact. Therapy is designed to feel like play from day one.

Our center is located at 9505 Delegates Row, Indianapolis, IN 46240 -- approximately:
We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with scheduling designed to work around your family's routine.

High staff turnover is one of the most damaging and most common problems in large ABA organizations. Children with autism build trust slowly, and having to restart that relationship repeatedly costs time and momentum.
At Sunpetal, our team is intentionally small and our caseloads are kept manageable -- so your child builds a genuine relationship with familiar faces rather than adjusting to new therapists every few months. This consistency is one of the most common reasons Westfield families choose Sunpetal over larger providers. Read more about why smaller therapy centers make a big difference.

Research supports starting ABA therapy as early as 18 months to 2 years old. At Sunpetal, we serve children ages 2-10. The earlier support begins, the more time your child has to build the foundational skills they need. Read our full post on what age to start ABA therapy.

This depends on your child's individual needs and goals, determined through a BCBA-led assessment. Some children benefit from a few focused hours per week, while others with more intensive needs may require more. It is always individualized. Learn more about our ABA therapy programs.
