The next step to begin therapy is to schedule an initial ABA assessment. The initial assessment gathers information about a learner’s skills, behaviors, and environment to guide individualized treatment planning. We value family involvement and collaborate with parents during goal setting and throughout therapy to ensure progress continue

We value family involvement and collaborate with parents during goal setting and throughout therapy to ensure progress continues at home and beyond. Reassessments typically occur every 6 months.

Our child-led ABA therapy approach focuses on following each child’s interests and teaching skills through play. We use play to teach a variety of skills including communication, social, and adaptive skills. At Sunpetal, we believe in a family-focused approach. Parents are encouraged to join therapy sessions when possible and bi-weekly progress meetings will be scheduled with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). During these meetings, families will have the opportunity to learn important skills that will help them generalize skills lear

During these meetings, families will have the opportunity to learn important skills that will help them generalize skills learned in therapy to the home environment as well as get updated progress reports.

2. Verify insurance and complete assessment
We will review your insurance coverage and set up an initial assessment to evaluate your child's personal needs.
3. Begin services within weeks
We design our ABA therapy programs for each individual child. Therapy will feel like play and is designed to be fun for your child!
